World domination was the message received loud and clear as Lagerfeld nailed it yet again with Chanel’s fall display.
The Grand Palais was once again transformed into something extraordinary as Lagerfeld erected a giant revolving globe, complete with illuminating flags, each representing a store across the world. The CC embossed flags showed clearly Chanel has achieved world domination and is taking things to another level.
The signature monochrome palette was prominent throughout with the iconic boucle jacket sporting these very shades.
The fall collection featured high collars, tweed aviator coats and fluffy pink and teal hats. The footwear was biker boots and flat brogues, worn with skater skirts and tweed tunic tops, carefully placed over crisp white shirts.
|Lots of Volume|
The LBD has a girly twist with frills on the neckline, hemline and sleeve. Lagerfeld has kept this collection fresh and wearable, whilst moving the house forward from the previous season.
|This is cute|
Layering was key in this collection as skirts were worn over skirts and legwarmers over skinny pants.
Accessories were boxy and bright in pink, yellow and blue.
It’s fair to say Lagerfeld has taking globe-trotting to another level – quite literally, once again Karl we salute you.
What did you think of the Chanel fall collection? Was it what you expected?
