The 2013 Mulberry collection is well and truly “English” –As always the brand is faithful to its British heritage which was demonstrated this season’s runway. With a hint of the 70’s era encompassed with inspiration from the English Country Garden, sorbet shades and countryside – inspired pieces dominated the Mulberry collection.
Think flowing dresses covered in English floral and tropical scenes – delightful!
The highlight of the collection has to be the new Willow bag – with its detachable zip clutch. A superb effort from Creative Director Emma Hill, who has not only created two bags in one but also a bag that transforms with your outfit. This number is ideal for taking your outfit from day to night by simply zipping off the envelope clutch – genius!
The Willow inherited its name from the Companies second factory which is due to open in June of this year. Not the usual way Mulberry names their bags however being the largest maker of luxury goods is something to celebrate.Of course the first celeb to debut the “Willow” was Kate Moss.
The Willow comes in at a staggering £1,800 but technically you are getting two bags for the price of one!
All hail the Willow!
